Missing person investigations in Poland
We combine information analysis, lawful open sources and fieldwork to verify leads and narrow the search area.
Every search is different. In a disappearance involving possible danger, time and cooperation with the Police are critical. When an adult has broken contact or a person is avoiding obligations, the lawful purpose and quality of the starting information become especially important.
Cases we can assess
We accept enquiries from families, authorised representatives, law firms and businesses. Before acting, we confirm the purpose of the search and the information that may lawfully be obtained or disclosed.
An adult has a right to privacy and may decline contact. Locating a person does not automatically mean that their address can be disclosed to every applicant.
- a missing family member
- possible travel abroad
- a lost family contact
- a person avoiding legal obligations
- verification of a current address
- confirmation of a reported location
Information needed at the start
Useful material may include a recent photograph, identity details, telephone numbers, vehicles, the last confirmed contact, known addresses and possible travel directions. Sensitive data should not be posted publicly. We arrange a suitable way to transfer it after the first consultation.
If there is an immediate risk to life or health, contact 112 and report the disappearance to the Police first. A private investigation may support, but never replaces, official action.
Searches in Poland and abroad
We conduct searches throughout Poland. Work in another European Union country is considered after assessing local law, available partners, logistics and cost.
For clients based overseas, updates and documents can be exchanged remotely through the communication method agreed for the case.
Frequently asked questions
Must I wait 24 or 48 hours before reporting a disappearance?
No. If a disappearance causes concern, contact the Police immediately. There is no general requirement to wait for a fixed number of hours.
Can you locate an adult who ended all contact?
We may conduct lawful enquiries, but an adult has a right to privacy and may refuse contact or disclosure of their location. What can be provided depends on the purpose and circumstances.
How quickly can work begin?
